Dentons launches IP practice in Italy, adds partner
Law firm Dentons has launched an IP and technology practice in Milan, Italy, and has hired Giovanni Francesco Casucci as a partner in the new office.
Dentons launched its Italian practice a year and a half ago, and has 73 professionals divided between the firm’s Milan and Rome offices.
Casucci is joined by senior associates Matteo Casucci, Gianluigi Muscas and Serena Tavolaro. Serena Spadavecchia also joins as an associate.
The lawyers join from law firm Bardehle Pagenberg.
Casucci’s practice focuses on patent, trademark and design litigation for companies such as Timberland.
Federico Sutti, Italy managing partner at the firm, said: “IP is an important area for our firm, in particular considering the top-tier fashion and technology companies that Dentons assists around the world. Giovanni’s hire will enable us to offer our clients top-quality IP advice here in Italy.”
