CMS adds sports and media partner from DLA Piper
Law firm CMS has strengthened its technology, media and telecommunications practice with the appointment of a new sports and media partner John Cloke, who will be joining the firm in London.
Cloke joins from DLA Piper where he was a partner in the media, sport and entertainment team for six years.
Cloke has significant experience in advising media clients on the sale and acquisition of sports rights, including on some of the largest rights deals in world sport.
David Zeffman, CMS media partner and head of sport, said: “We are delighted to welcome John to the team. His experience in advising clients on sports media rights and related issues will be a fantastic asset to the team.”
