Alston & Bird elects three new partners

Global law firm Alston & Bird has elected three new IP lawyers to its partnership, part of a total of 17 lawyers who gained promotion.

Hidetada James Abe (Los Angeles) has been elected as a partner in the IP litigation group. Alexander Brown (Atlanta) joins as a partner in the litigation and trial practice group, while Gregory Carbo (New York) enters as a partner in the IP litigation group.

“This year’s class of new partners achieved what they did because they are among the best and brightest of our young leaders,” said Richard Hays, Alston & Bird chairman and managing partner.

“These new partners lead with our clients and our people and represent an exceptional, diverse group of lawyers who reflect our broad strengths across industries, practices, and geographies that are key to our clients and our firm,” he added.
