Munger, Tolles & Olson promotes four IP partners
US-based law firm Munger, Tolles & Olson has promoted four new IP partners, effective January 1, 2019.
Zachary Briers has a broad litigation practice with a focus on IP and technology-related disputes. He has experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in patent and trademark litigation, as well as counselling clients regarding IP transactions and compliance with web-based regulations.
Joining him is Rose Leda Ehler, whose litigation practice has an emphasis on legal problems faced by the entertainment and technology industries. She has litigated high-stakes copyright cases and appeared on behalf of clients in federal, state and arbitration proceedings.
Laura Lin, who has a breadth of experience in IP disputes, including claims brought under the Copyright and Digital Millennium Copyright Acts and trade secret laws, has also been promoted.
Finally, Justin Raphael focuses his practice on antitrust litigation related to IP, as well as complex civil litigation. He has represented clients in antitrust enforcement actions in several nationwide class action lawsuits and in the US Supreme Court.
They join a total list of eight new partners elected by the law firm for its 2019 partner class.
The firm’s co-managing partner Sandra Seville-Jones said: “The new partner class illustrates the diversity and professional excellence that distinguishes our firm. They are incredibly talented legal practitioners who are deeply committed to serving clients while also playing significant leadership roles in the legal profession and local community. Our future has never been brighter.”
