Beth Marshall

Dr Beth Marshall is Director, Patents at Murgitroyd, based in Aberdeen. She advises clients across a range of technology sectors including renewable energy, oil and gas (such as downhole tools, wellbore cleaning, risers and valves), marine equipment, medical devices, and extended reality. Beth manages patent drafting and prosecution globally, with expertise in the UK, US, Europe, China, and Japan. With a PhD in Systems Biology, she combines technical insight with practical IP strategy. Beth leads Murgitroyd’s ESG Team Impact and Steering Committee, and in 2024 was recognised as a "Shining Light, Top 50 Influential Woman in IP" by WIPR Diversity.
