Barry Moore

Barry Moore is Regional Head, Patents Ireland and Director, Patents at Murgitroyd. A European and Chartered Patent Attorney with over 20 years’ experience, Barry advises clients on patent prosecution, IP strategy, due diligence, and international litigation. With a background in experimental physics, he specialises in telecommunications, mobile devices, security, software, electronics, medical devices, and mechanical inventions. Barry has extensive experience representing clients in EPO oral hearings and opposition proceedings, as well as litigation before the UK IPEC and Court of Appeal. Recognised internationally, Barry is regularly listed and recognised by award organisations such as WIPR for his outstanding client service.
