Dr Mina Jovanović Ninković is an intellectual property practitioner at Zivko Mijatovic and Partners, specialising in enforcement, litigation and cross-border IP disputes across the Balkan region. She advises clients on trademark, copyright, industrial design and domain name matters, including proceedings before WIPO, national authorities and customs and market inspection bodies.

She has extensive litigation experience and also represents clients in contentious proceedings before the Serbian Intellectual Property Office. Although based in Belgrade, she handles cross-border matters across ex-Yugoslav jurisdictions.

Jovanović Ninković combines academic and professional excellence, holding a PhD in Intellectual Property Law alongside two Master’s degrees, including an LLM in Intellectual Property and Information Society and postgraduate study at King’s College London. Her doctoral research focuses on trademark reputation, and she has also specialised in digital assets and the intersection of IP and emerging technologies, including AI and NFTs.

She is a registered patent and trademark attorney before the Intellectual Property Office of Serbia and is listed on the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center’s List of Mediators.

She is a prolific academic author and frequent speaker at domestic and international IP conferences, with publications covering EU, UK and US copyright and trademark law, artificial intelligence, and digital enforcement issues.

She is also the initiator of IP: Con Belgrade, a regional intellectual property conference bringing together practitioners, judges and academics.
