Jennifer Gregor is a shareholder in the Intellectual Property and litigation practice groups at Godfrey & Kahn, where she serves as chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property litigation practice.

Gregor began her career at Foley & Lardner in Chicago before joining Godfrey & Kahn in 2009. Prior to law school, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry, grounding her practice in real-world technical experience.

Gregor has built a nationally recognised intellectual property litigation practice. She has litigated cases in federal district courts across the US and in the Seventh, Ninth, and Federal Circuits, and has appeared before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

She has played a central role in several significant intellectual property cases in Wisconsin over the past decade, including representing plaintiffs in a patent infringement action involving biofuel yeast technology, securing a $14.5 million jury verdict after a seven-day trial.

In Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation v Apple, she served as local counsel in a two-week patent trial involving iPhone and iPad processor technology that resulted in a jury award exceeding $200 million.

Gregor is a member of the International Trademark Association, including the International Amicus Committee, and has served on the Trademark Reporter Committee.

She also serves as an alumni Board of Visitors member for the University of Wisconsin–Madison College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
