As founder of IP consultancy Aligning Stars, Hakoranta brings decades of experience from some of the world’s most significant technology and licensing organisations. She previously served as executive vice president and chief licensing officer at InterDigital, where she oversaw all licensing activities and led the company’s licensing organisation as a member of the executive leadership team.

Before that, she held senior leadership positions at Nokia, including senior vice president and head of IP, general counsel of Nokia Technologies, and leader of the company’s global patent licensing activities.
