Global Law Office adds IP partner in China
Wendy Wu, who joins as a partner at the Shanghai office, brings more than 20 years of IP expertise.
Chinese firm Global Law Office has appointed Wendy Wu as a partner in Shanghai.
Wu’s areas of focus include IP protection and litigation, and outbound investment—particularly trade secrets, logos, copyright, patents, and unfair competition.
She has completed due diligence and commercial negotiation with complex affiliations for cross-border transactions and has served clients in a variety of sectors, including food, medicine, semiconductor, chemical, automotive and AI.
Wu worked previously at Baker McKenzie, as well as McDermott Will & Emery, Shanghai, where she was a partner and group leader of the Intellectual Property Group.
The move coincides with two other partner hires at Global Law Office: Lucy Luo as partner in the Shanghai office, who will focus on foreign-related business; and Huang Zhen as a partner in the Shenzhen office, whose focus will be on dispute resolution.
