Law firm Squire Patton Boggs has hired Monika Kuschewsky as a partner in the firm’s data privacy and cybersecurity group, and as a member of the intellectual property and technology practice in Brussels, Belgium.
Kuschewsky joins from law firm Covington & Burling, where she worked as a special counsel.
She has experience in data privacy, IP, international data transfers, and employee data.
Her clients include companies in the pharmaceutical, automotive and transportation industries.
Brian Hartnett, office managing partner of Brussels, said: “Our Brussels team continues to grow, with a number of high-profile additions over the last year. Monika will be a welcome addition to our office, particularly given the wide-reaching policy and regulatory implications of European data protection legislation and regulations.”
