Rouse China has strengthened its intellectual property team with two promotions and a new recruit.
Linda Chang and Tim Smith have been promoted to country manager for China and executive, respectively.
Chang has been at Rouse since 1999. She is the founding member of Rouse’s China trademark group.
Smith joined Rouse in 2008 from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, where he was senior legal advisor. He will be based in Rouse’s Beijing office, overseeing the firm’s Asia litigation group.
Jenny Luo, a patent specialist, has joined the patent team at Rouse.
She has handled patent prosecution and patent support in the biotechnology, bioinformatics and instrumentation fields.
