K&L Gates IP partner joins Perkins Coie
Britt Anderson has joined Perkins Coie as a partner in the firm’s trademark, copyright, media and brand protection team, after spending more than seven years at K&L Gates.
Anderson, who will be based in the firm’s Palo Alto office, has been practising IP law for nearly two decades. He has experience in trademark, copyright, domain name, and advertising matters.
Over the course of his career, Anderson has appeared before federal and state courts and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He has advised clients on the enforcement and defence of their IP rights in other jurisdictions, and he has also litigated foreign civil infringement matters.
James Vana, chair of Perkins Coie’s trademark, copyright, media and brand protection practice, said: “The technology focus of Britt’s practice is a natural fit for Perkins Coie’s Bay Area client base."
“Britt offers the right expertise, practice focus and interests to establish and grow a strong California trademark practice for the firm,” he added.
