Flip Petillion opens new law firm
IP lawyer Flip Petillion has opened a boutique law firm after over 20 years in the industry.
The firm, called Petillion, opened earlier this month and offers a range of IP services in sectors including IT, media and energy.
It consists of a team of four who had previously been working together for a decade in Europe.
The law firm Petillion also represents multinationals and individual portfolio holders.
Speaking to WIPR, Flip Petillion said: “We had a busy take-off and are already looking for additional passionate people with a good mix of technical capabilities, strategic insight and guts.”
He added he wanted to “pursue his own vision for an independent firm, free of conflicts of interests, a typical problem at big firms”.
Flip Petillion is an arbitrator for the International Trademark Association and the World Intellectual Property Organization.
