Nisha Gera’s IP career spans three jurisdictions—the US, Europe, and India. Gera began her career in India, where she worked to improve access to essential HIV and HCV medications. 

She served as an advisor for a UNITAID initiative and was a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Germany. After earning her law degree, she practiced as an associate at Haug Partners, where she focused on litigation under the Hatch-Waxman Act.
