Winston & Strawn hires two partners
Winston & Strawn LLP has added Richard Price and Gareth Morgan as partners to its intellectual property group in London, the firm announced on January 10.
They join from Taylor Wessing LLP and DLA Piper LLP respectively, and were both partners at their previous firms. Jim Hurst, chairman of the firm’s intellectual property group, said: “The depth that Price and Morgan bring in nearly every area of intellectual property law enhances our global IP litigation practices that now span three continents.”
Price advises corporate clients on patent, trademark and copyright matters. These have involved brain, coronary and abdominal stents, as well as consumer products and carbon emissions.
Morgan has represented clients in patent and patent licence disputes. He also advises pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients on product lifecycle management.
