Vossius & Partner opens new office in Germany, adds IP partner

Law firm Vossius & Partner has opened a new office in Düsseldorf and hired Kai Rüting as a partner.

The office, the firm’s fourth, is expected to open on November 1. The firm already has offices in Munich, Berlin and Basel, Switzerland.

The firm focuses on all IP related issues.

Rüting joins from law firm Jones Day where he worked as a European counsel.

He has experience in patent and copyright law, and he has represented clients in the technology and electronics industries.
