Peter Vogl has left Jones Day to become a partner in Orrick's IP practice in New York.
He specialises in areas including anti-counterfeiting, cybersquatting, false advertising, trade secret litigation before state and federal courts, and inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Vogl also worked at IP law firm specialists Pennie & Edmonds, which was dissolved following a merger with Jones Day.
Steve Routh, co-head of Orrick’s IP group, welcomed Vogl’s latest move. “We are thrilled to have him join our internationally recognised team.” Vogl added: “I’m truly excited to be a part of such an exceptional team of lawyers.”
