Ulmer & Berne promotes IP lawyer to partner
Ulmer & Berne has promoted Seth Voit, a member of the firm’s IP and technology group, to partner.
Voit, who is based in the firm’s Cincinnati office, focuses his practice on patent, trademark, and licensing matters for clients across a broad spectrum of industries.
His areas of expertise are centred on the mechanical, electrical, and software sectors and he prepares and facilitates the prosecution of patent applications at the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Eric Robbins, chair of Ulmer’s IP and technology group, explained that Voit is an asset to the firm’s IP clients given his engineering background.
