Gowling promotes 19 to partner in Canada

Gowling WLG has appointed three IP lawyers to partner in Canada, in a round of partnership appointments in the country.

In total, 19 lawyers were promoted to partner, with James Green, Kiernan Murphy, and Sonia Ziesche being the three IP lawyers.

Green is an IP litigator in the firm’s Toronto office. He has experience in representing clients in trademark, patent, design and copyright litigation.

Based in the Ottawa office, Murphy focuses primarily on patent litigation and related pharmaceutical regulatory law, including pharmaceutical damages claims.

Ziesche is a principal, patent agent and the chair of the life sciences group of Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office.
