Law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP has added three patent litigators to its ranks.
James Elacqua and Andrew Thomases will join the firm’s Palo Alto office as partners, while Jonathan Baker is to be of counsel.
Elacqua and Thomases are litigators who work with life science and technology companies. The partnership earned a $57 million damages award for On behalf of Medtronic in 2009.
Baker has been responsible for patent litigation cases for companies such as Acer, Creative and TiVo.
