Sheppard Mullin promotes 16 to partner
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has appointed 16 lawyers to partner, with four being promoted in the IP team.
In the firm’s Shanghai office, Harris Gao and Michael Zhang have been promoted.
Gao is a member of the IP, business trial and corporate practice groups, and focuses his practice on international IP litigation and technology transactions in the technology and life sciences areas.
As a member of the firm’s corporate, antitrust and IP practice groups, Zhang represents US and European clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint venture projects and operations in China and other regions of Asia.
Ericka Schulz is a member of the IP practice group in the firm’s San Diego office. She represents clients in IP litigation disputes, as well as patent and trademark portfolio counselling.
Lai Yip, who serves as co-leader of the firm’s China IP team, is a member of Sheppard Mullin’s IP group in the San Francisco and Palo Alto offices. She is an experienced IP litigator, and has handled high-stakes litigation in area of fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory licensing of standard-essential patents.
