Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP has hired patent litigator Bruce Chapman, who will work as a partner in the company’s Los Angeles office.
Chapman, who joins from Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz, has experience representing companies in fields such as medical devices, electronics, soft ware, biotechnology and telecommunications. He also represents clients in trademark, copyright, trade secret, antitrust and other IP-related litigation.
“I am excited to be joining Sheppard Mullin. The strength and breadth of the firm’s IP group is very impressive, throughout the state and nationwide. Sheppard Mullin’s successful expansion and entrepreneurial culture have also been very attractive to me,” Chapman said.
The firm has 70 attorneys in its IP practice.
