Robinson Brog partner joins Ice Miller

Ice Miller has added Justin Klein, previously a partner at Robinson Brog, to its litigation group in New York.

Over the course of his career, Klein has been involved in IP and commercial litigation throughout the US. He has successfully represented clients in digital fair use proceedings and in copyright infringement disputes at the district courts as well as the appeals courts.

Klein advises established and emerging companies in sectors such as insurance, financial technology, sports, entertainment, and life sciences.

His clients have included a large molecule pharmaceutical company, a National Basketball Association team, and a private equity consortium looking to acquire the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

In addition to his IP practice, Klein advises clients on blockchain-related investments and employment matters.

Steve Humke, chief managing partner of Ice Miller, described Klein’s practice as “diverse, expansive, and global”.

“He will be an asset to the firm in many areas and will be able to serve the unique needs of our diverse client-base across many industries,” he said.
