Osborne Clarke welcomes IP and data protection specialist

International firm Osborne Clarke has welcomed IP and data protection lawyer Tamara Quinn as a partner in the firm’s London office.

Quinn is dual-qualified as a solicitor and a barrister. She has more than 20 years of experience in IP and specialist expertise in data protection. Quinn joins Osborne Clarke’s commercial team, though she previously ran Berwin Leighton Paisner’s IP practice.

During her career, Quinn has advised on the full range of non-contentious IP. She has experience in protecting, using and licensing different types of IP rights.

John Buyers, commercial partner at the firm, said: “Tamara is great match for Osborne Clarke and will add strength and depth to our team. Not only is she a highly regarded IP practitioner, but she is also a specialist in data protection, which is particularly important to a number of our clients and prospects that have been and continue to be impacted by the general data protection regulation.”
