O’Melveny & Myers appoints partner in Silicon Valley

Law firm O’Melveny & Myers has strengthened its intellectual property practice by appointing Melody Drummond Hansen as partner in its Silicon Valley office.

Drummond Hansen formerly worked in the firm’s San Francisco office as partner.

She has experience in patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyright and data security.

Her clients include companies in the mobile telecommunications standards and devices, internet content delivery networks, and semiconductors industries.

Eric Amdursky, managing partner of the firm’s Silicon Valley office, said: “Melody is a seasoned legal strategist and advocate who understands the distinctive space in which our technology clients operate.
