New partner for Winston & Strawn

Winston & Strawn LLP has appointed technology, media and IP litigator Paul D. McGrady Jr as partner of its advertising, marketing & entertainment law practice in Chicago.

McGrady will join Winston & Strawn from Greenberg Traurig. The author of McGrady on Domain Names and McGrady on Social Media, McGrady has handled more than 300 proceedings under the Uniform Domain Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), as well as cases brought under the Anti-Cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act and foreign domain name dispute policies.

He previously served as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 retailer focusing on trademarks, franchising, advertising and shareholder/member relations, and serves as an adjunct professor of law at DePaul University College of Law, teaching cyberlaw.
