Neal Gerber Eisenberg develops IP group
Chicago-based Neal Gerber Eisenberg has appointed three partners to its IP group.
Christopher Anderson, Thomas Campbell and Katherine Dennis Nye, all of the firm’s IP and technology transactions group, have been promoted to partner.
Scott Fisher, managing partner at the firm, commented: “Chris, Tom and Kate have distinguished themselves through exemplary client service and exceptional legal work, and I, along with my fellow partners, am thrilled to welcome them to our partnership.
“They are outstanding attorneys, and each contributes meaningfully to attaining our vision of an inclusive, collaborative and industrious culture. I look forward to their continued success.”
Anderson’s background includes work in structuring, drafting and negotiating different types of patent, trademark, software and technology licence agreements. Anderson has counselled on IP issues in corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, public offerings and bankruptcy.
Campbell focuses on pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemical and medical device inventions. He represents clients in patent and trademark prosecution, litigation and post-grant challenges before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Meanwhile, Nye’s practice manages IP policing and enforcement, and assists clients with branding and marketing.
“Chris, Tom and Kate have the licensing, patent, and trademark know-how to contribute to the continued growth of our firm,” added Michael Kelber, co-chair of the IP practice group. “Their diverse experience and legal acumen make them tremendous assets to serve our clients seeking IP advice.”
Neal Gerber Eisenberg’s IP team consists of 37 lawyers.
