Morris, Manning & Martin hires partner in Atlanta

Law firm Morris, Manning & Martin has hired Mary An Merchant as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice in Atlanta.

Merchant joins from law firm Ballard Spahr and has experience in patent prosecution, due diligence and licensing.

She has represented clients in the agriculture, cosmetics and consumer products industries.

Louise Wells, the firm’s managing partner, said: “We are excited to have Mary An join us and expand our innovative IP practice.”
