McKenna Long & Aldridge completes merger
McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP merged with California-based Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP on March 6.
The combined firm will be known as McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP and will have more than 575 attorneys and public policy advisors. They will form 18 practices, be based in 13 offices and operate in 11 markets.
The firm's new IP practice now includes more than 50 IP attorneys, patent litigators and patent agents. The merger with Luce Forward has added patent prosecutors with technical and scientific backgrounds, trademark and copyright prosecutors and licensing specialists, as well as corporate and tax attorneys who are familiar with intellectual property issues, to McKenna Long & Alridge's IP practice.
“Our merger is about creating more value for our clients through an expanded network of attorneys and public policy advisers whose experience and expertise are exponentially more powerful when working together,” said McKenna Long & Alridge chairman Jeff Haidet.
