Mayer Brown promotes five in IP

Law firm Mayer Brown has promoted Kfir Levy and Richard McCormick to partner, and Baldine Paul, Manuel Velez, and Tiffany Miller to counsel.

Levy, Paul and Miller all work in the Washington, DC office.

McCormick and Velez both work in the firm’s New York office.

Levy’s experience is in patent litigation, often presenting cases before the International Trade Commission.

McCormick has experience in patent validity and represents clients in the biotechnology industry.

Paul has represented clients in the high-technology industry, while Velez primarily focuses his practice on patent litigation.

Miller’s experience covers all areas of intellectual property.

The moves come as part of 19 promotions to counsel and 27 to partner in total.
