Irell & Manella hires IP pair from Liner
Irell & Manella LLP has added a new IP partner and counsel to its Los Angles office.
Joshua Grode and Paul Swanson, who both have experience in managing IP transactions, join from LA-based Liner LLP and will be part of the firm’s transactions practise group.
Grode, who will join as co-chair of the group, has IP experience across industries including film and television and also has experience facilitating mergers and acquisitions.
Swanson, who joins as of counsel, has participated in media-related transactions, with a specific focus on identifying and resolving IP issues.
The pair will be joined by four other attorneys who will also form part of the transactions group.
Andrei Iancu, managing partner at the firm, said it was thrilled to welcome the group.
