India hires new controller general at IP office

The Indian Patent Office has hired Sh. OP Gupta as the controller general of patents, designs and trademarks.

Before joining the organisation, Gupta worked as the chairman and managing director at Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution.

He began his new role on November 16.
