HGF promotes Nelson to partner

HGF has promoted Mike Nelson to partner. He joined the firm last year to work with the pharmaceutical and chemistry teams after arriving from AstraZeneca.

The move comes as part of a further expansion of HGF. The firm has opened offices in Birmingham and Oxford, as well as acquiring trademark attorney specialist Grant Spencer.

Nelson said: “I am delighted to join the partnership. HGF has a great client service ethic ... This is a really exciting time for HGF and I am looking forward to helping with the firm’s growth.”

Andrew Wells, head of the pharmaceuticals team, said: “Mike Nelson’s appointment is very much in recognition of his constant hard work to bring continued growth, expansion and success to HGF and the pharmaceuticals team.”

HGF is a UK-based firm with ten offices across the country. It specialises in a wide range of IP practices including branding, IP litigation, and trademark filing.
