Haynes and Boone bags new partner in New York

John Hintz has moved to the New York office of Haynes and Boone LLP as partner.

The addition of Hintz, an IP litigator with more than 20 years’ experience, is part of client service expansion for the firm’s New York presence.

“John is a seasoned litigator who has worked on all aspects of patent disputes and has litigated in federal courts throughout the country and before the International Trade Commission (ITC),” said Kenneth Bezozo, New York office managing partner. “Adding John supports our goal of broadening and deepening our IP litigation practice.”

Hintz has represented clients in a wide range of industries covering technologies including search engines, financial services, barcode scanning, Internet-related businesses, telecommunications, computer simulations, commodity chemicals, polymers, process control instruments, medical devices and life sciences.

He also has significant transactional, licensing and counselling experience, including advising clients on the IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions and on the licensing of IP assets.
