Greenberg Traurig adds partner in San Francisco office
Greenberg Traurig has added David Bloch as a partner to its IP department in San Francisco.
Bloch, who joins from Winston & Strawn, focuses on patent infringement, copyright, trademark and trade secret issues. These include issues relating to intellectual property in government contracts, financial services, technology, health care and pharmaceutical industries.
He has also written many articles on IP-related issues, such as “IP and technology in Government Contracts”.
Ian Ballon, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s global intellectual property & technology practice, said that “David is a stellar litigator and intellectual property specialist who adds great expertise and depth to our team in California and nationally.”
Michelle Ferreira, managing partner of the firm’s San Francisco office, said Bloch “brings a wealth of experience and strong relationships in the intellectual property litigation area, which will add to GT’s existing IP litigation bench”.
On his appointment to the firm, Bloch said: “I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it, and look forward to helping expand the firm’s IP litigation practice in California and worldwide.”
