Goodwin adds IP partner from Vinson & Elkins
Goodwin Law has added Vinson & Elkins partner Darryl Woo to its IP practice in San Francisco.
Woo’s work focuses on patent and trade secret litigation, as well as matters involving jury trials and the International Trade Commission. He also advises on copyright, trademark, and trade dress infringement cases, and he has experience in false advertising and licensing disputes.
His industry expertise includes semiconductors, IT, life sciences, and biotechnology. Woo’s notable cases have included obtaining a $74.7 million jury verdict for a semiconductor company.
Previously Woo worked as a technical advisor of HBO series “Silicon Valley”.
Woo said he is “thrilled” to be joining the Goodwin team.
