Fish & Richardson boosts litigation practice with Winston hire

Fish & Richardson has hired IP litigator Esha Bandyopadhyay as a principal to the firm’s Silicon Valley office.

Esha Bandyopadhyay, who will work in the litigation practice group, has represented clients in a number of areas, including computer software and hardware, and consumer products. She has experience in disputes over trade secrets, copyright and trademarks, among others.

Bandyopadhyay joins from Winston & Strawn.

Kurt Glitzenstein, Fish & Richardson’s litigation practice group leader, said Bandyopadhyay’s extensive background in multiple technologies, “combined with her winning litigation record”, strengthens the firm’s position in the IP litigation market.

“We are pleased and honoured that she chose to join the Fish team,” he added.

Before joining Winston & Strawn, Bandyopadhyay worked at Turner Boyd. She has also previously worked at Kirkland & Ellis.
