Eckert Seamans welcomes IP member back to firm

Edward Flynn has re-joined Eckert Seamans as a member in the firm’s litigation division, after he left the firm in 2011 for Cohen & Grace.

Flynn has more than 35 years of experience as a trial attorney in a range of matters, including patent infringement.

He has represented patent owners seeking to protect their IP and those accused of infringement in the federal district courts, and he has experience in managing inter partes review proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Over his career, Flynn has also negotiated licence agreements related to technologies such as semiconductors, memory devices, software applications, and digital downloads.

Flynn will be based in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.
