Duane Morris names IP division heads

Law firm Duane Morris has named Andrea Augustine, Nicole McLaughlin, Patrick McPherson, John Neclerio and Kevin Nelson as chairs and co-chairs within the firm’s intellectual property practice group.

The lawyers are based in Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington, DC.

McLaughlin chairs the trademark, copyright, entertainment, and advertising sub-group, while McPherson is chair of the inter partes review sub-group.

Augustine works as co-chair in the firm’s patent preparation and prosecution sub-group.

Neclerio chairs the firm’s technology transactions and licensing sub-group, and Nelson works as co-chair of the generic and biosimilar pharmaceuticals sub-group.

The lawyers have experience in trademark strategy, infringement, competition, patents, copyright and software licensing.

Their clients include companies in the wireless communications, e-commerce, medical devices, publishing and consumer goods industries.
