HGF hires partner in Birmingham

DLA Piper LLP has added to its US team with the appointment of Anne Friedman.
Friedman will join as of counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office and will be part of the technology, sourcing and commercial practice group.
Friedman focuses her practice on software licensing, integration and implementation transactions and handling issues relating to data privacy and security.
Vinny Sanchez, chair of the technology, sourcing and commercial practice in the US, praised Friedman’s “vast work” in “varying industries.”
Friedman’s practice spans industries including hospitality, health care, and financial services sectors.
She joins from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP where she was based in both the Washington, DC, and LA offices.
Perrie Weiner, co-managing partner of DLA Piper’s LA offices, added: “We look forward to her contributions in providing sophisticated services on behalf of our clients.”
