Cozen O’Connor reinforces Seattle office with two IP hires

Two attorneys have joined Cozen O’Connor’s Seattle office from Seed IP Law Group, a law firm based in the Pacific Northwest.

Frank Abramonte and Lorraine Linford both have significant experience in a range of technology fields, from aeronautical, mechanical and electrical engineering to computer-aided design and other software applications.

Abramonte focuses his practice on patent procurement and patent portfolio strategies. He also provides validity and infringement studies and opinions.

Linford helps clients develop IP strategies, including procurement and enforcement of trademark registrations and utility and design patents. She also focuses her practice on patentability, trademark licensing and distribution agreements, and trademark oppositions and cancellation actions.

Michael Heller, executive chairman and CEO of Cozen O’Connor, said: “In addition to having exceptional track records, each of these attorneys brings strong connections to cutting-edge technology clients and industry leaders, large and small, along the west coast and internationally. Together we can help these businesses grow and prosper.”
