Bryan Cave and Berwin Leighton Paisner combine forces
Law firms Berwin Leighton Paisner and Bryan Cave have joined forces to launch Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.
The integrated law firm has 32 offices in 11 countries, 1,600 lawyers, a specialist IP department and is led by co-chairs Lisa Mayhew and Therese Pritchard.
The firm will focus on data analytics and technology, launching products throughout 2018, such as new automated contract negotiation software and a technology-driven case analysis product to help clients mitigate litigation risk.
In addition, the firm will allow staff to share and develop innovative ideas and projects.
“Creating Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has been a fantastic journey for us all,” explained Mayhew.
“Our firms have come together with a commitment to serve our clients as one team.”
Pritchard added that the new firm will be able to provide clients with global strategic counsel across geographies.
“Our integrated structure is designed to institutionalise and reward collaboration across our global platform,” she said.
“Our lawyers are already creating cross-border client and industry teams, and in so doing, they are discovering new synergies that will enable broader efficiencies for our clients.”
