Bracewell & Giuliani bags former USPTO examiner Spivey
New York law firm Bracewell & Giuliani LLP has hired Jonathan Spivey as a partner in its Houston intellectual property litigation practice, the firm announced on October 11.
Spivey, a former patent examiner at the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) joins the firm from Foley & Lardner LLP, where he was a partner in the Chicago office and head of the IP practice.
Spivey is a patent and copyright specialist who will focus on hi-tech industries, including software, electrical, mechanical and computer technology.
