Barnes & Thornburg LLP has strengthened its IP practice by hiring Felicia Boyd as partner from Faegre & Benson LLP in Minneapolis.
She has represented plaintiffs and defendants on claims relating to patents, copyright and trademarks. She has litigated in several industries, including medical devices, software, music and pharmaceuticals.
In copyright litigation, Boyd has represented Microsoft, Macromedia and the Recording Industry Association of America, while she has handled patent infringement matters for Guidant and Genetic Technologies.
