Barnes & Thornburg hires IP partner from Lindquist & Vennum

Barnes & Thornburg has welcomed Bruce Little as an IP partner in the firm's Minneapolis office.

Little joins the firm from Lindquist & Vennum, which has now merged with Ballard Spahr, where he gained over 20 years of experience as an IP attorney.

As a trial lawyer he has represented clients in disputes involving infringement, ownership, and licensing. He also has experience in employment cases involving covenants not to compete and the misappropriation of trade secrets.

Little is one of seven new attorneys to join Barnes & Thornburg so far this year. The other additions focus their practice on financial restructuring and banking, and family law.

Connie Lahn, managing partner in the Minneapolis office, said: “IP is a core strength of our firm and Bruce continues that outstanding tradition as one of top litigators and advisers in the Twin Cities. He’s served as lead trial counsel for many companies and individuals in varied industries ranging from software to financial services to entertainment.”
