Baker Botts announces three IP promotions for 2018
Baker Botts has announced the promotion of three IP partners, effective from the start of 2018.
The three are part of ten promotions in Houston, New York, San Francisco, Dallas and Austin, and one in Moscow.
Brian Johnson will join the firm’s Dallas office and practises in all areas of IP law across a broad range of technologies, with an emphasis on patent litigation.
He has litigated a number of cases before district courts, and inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Elsewhere in Texas, Jennifer Nall will join the firm’s Austin office.
Her principal practice area is IP, with an emphasis on patent litigation and appeals in high-technology cases.
She has heard cases in front of numerous district courts, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the US International Trade Commission and the Supreme Court.
Jeremy Taylor will join the firm’s San Francisco office.
He focuses his practice on complex patent litigation in the areas of communications technologies, networking, signal processing, software, semiconductors, internet technologies and mechanical design.
“This is an outstanding class of lawyers who are key to our success, as they represent the future leadership of our firm,” said Andrew Baker, managing partner of Baker Botts.
