ASIPI appoints new executive committee

The Inter-American Intellectual Property Association (ASIPI) has elected a new executive committee.

María del Pilar Troncoso has become the new president while the positions of vice president one and two have been handed to Elisabeth Siemsen do Amaral and Rafael Covarrubias.

The roles of directors one, two and three have been taken up by Jorge Chávarro, Marco Antonio Palacios, and Matías Noetinger.

Other roles, including a secretary and a treasurer, are held by Luis Alejandro Henriquez and Enrique Díaz respectively.

Juan Vanrell has become the new past president.

The roles became effective on December 2 during ASIPI’s XIX Congress in Cartagena, Colombia.
