Alston & Bird hires patent specialist in California

Law firm Alston & Bird has bolstered its California-based team with the hire of Ardeshir Tabibi as a partner.

Tabibi, a patent specialist, joins the firm’s Silicon Valley office and was previously a partner at law firm Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton.

He specialises in portfolio development and counselling in the electronic and software industries.

Ted Hollifield, partner-in-charge of Alston & Bird’s Silicon Valley office, said: “We are delighted that Ardeshir is joining our team.
