Bristows adds two more to partnership

Two IP specialists are among a group of lawyers to have been promoted to the partnership at UK law firm Bristows LLP.

Dominic Adair and Jeremy Blum will leave their positions as associates and be promoted in May, it was announced on January 7.

Adair (below left), who has a background in natural sciences and zoology, will be working principally in the areas of patent litigation, including life sciences and biologics.

Blum (below right) works primarily in brands litigation and has advised on matters involving patents, trademarks and copyright including disputes before the UK High Court.

Mark Watts, joint managing partner, said the firm was “delighted” to welcome the “talented individuals” to the partnership which would provide a “tremendous boost.”

The promotions are among four across a variety of disciplines and increases the total number of partners at the London-based law firm by 10 percent.
